Caring for Your Child's Well-being
I am a General Paediatrician at Life Bedford Gardens Hospital, Bedfordview. I started working there in 1997 after completing my Paediatric specialization at Wits, rotating through Chris Hani Baragwanath, Rahima Moosa Mother and Child Hospital as well as Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital.
I love working with children, and knew during my undergraduate training that I wanted to continue with paediatrics. My practice focuses on patient wellbeing, overseeing growth and development, and offering valuable parental support and guidance. I am committed to providing individualised and compassionate treatment to all patients under my care.
I am also a mother of four grown children, and so understand what parents are going through when their little ones are sick or not doing well.
My interest and expertise apart from general paediatrics extends to asthma and allergies as well as upper respiratory tract conditions, as well as an interest in ADHD.
